I have bought a cemetery plot at Hope Cemetery and the tombstone reads Mayor of Kutztown 2002-2005. I love the personal remarks directed at me that have no substance or credibility, especially the one that ends up with go away. Go away the way Borough Manager\Treasurers Keith Hill and Jaymes Vettraino did after they falsely puffed up their resumes’. Or run away like Council Members Eric Ely, Jan crooker, Carl Mantz and John Schmoyer. Councilmen Archie Follweiler and Brendan Strasser spoke the truth about Hometown Utilicom, which loses about $1 million a year, and their names will never be mentioned in the Borough again.
About State Officials not answering my letters ask Borough Manager\Treasurer Gabriel Khalife and Assistant Treasurer Russell Samilo if any of my letters were answered. In fact ask Mayor Green, the Borough Council, the Borough Solicitors Mooney and Dietrich and Borough Auditors Long and Barrell if they have seen any inquiries from the Governor’s Office, Senator O’Pake’s Office or the Auditor General’s Office.
My anonymous detractors and the one with a name should tell the public when the 2006 and 2007 Budgets and Audits will be available at the Borough Hall. And Hometown Utilicom does not lose about $1 million a year. You can also show the local taxpayers that the Budget is not falsified and the Borough does not publish fraudulent reports on HU. You can also tell the Kutztown residents where the $1.3 million loan and the Business Plan for Hometown Utilicom is.
Remember I will stop asking questions and shut down my website, www.marinoreport.com, when all of the Borough’s financial books and records are made public at the Borough Hall as per the Borough Code.

Here we go again. You are making the false claims, making the accusations, and again you have been asked to provide the responses from the Attorney General, Auditor, boys club, girls club, on and on and on. AGAIN you cannot produce anything to substantiate your claims. If you could, you would print them in your rag and you would be running up and down GreenStrasserSnyderStreet, sorry mainstreet, and passing out copies. You would have sent them to the press to be reprinted. You did none of this because?
Any such inquiry from any Government Official would appear in the press before it reached the Borough. This has not happened which supports my claim that responses you have received are all negative regarding your obvious false claims.
The year is 2008. What is this about a budget that is over two years old? You were in office at the time, what did you do with your copy? Oh my error, you were run out of office in 2006. Does anyone know where Jerry can obtain copies of a two year old budget? Please, someone, help this poor soul out.

For any of you cult members that have an interest in knowing the truth, submit an "Open Records Request" to the State or Borough asking for all responses from the Attorney General, FBI, CIA, District Attorney etc (ask Marino for the list). find out for yourself, don't rely on Jerry's word.
Have Jerry show you the responses he has received. It's obvious he has nothing to support his claims.
You will never shutdown your rag, why should you? free coffee, free food, free services.

You are quite adept a playing dodge ball, except when you come up against a worthy opponent such as Judge Schmehl, who had you leaving the court with your ass in a sling. I took it upon myself and called the Borough and spoke to the Finance Director Russ. I asked how I could get a copy of the Budget, he told me to come in and ask at the front counter, he said I could review it there and if I wanted a printed copy or copies of certain pages I could request them, I would have to pay a copy charge for each page. I asked if the 2007 Audit is available and he said the Auditors are finalizing it and it should be available at the end of July.
Russ also told me that I could go to the Boroughs website and view or download the 2004, 2005, 2006 Audited Financial Reports and the 2008 Budget detail report which is also available.

I don't know about you but something here sure does not make sense. The Marino Report has claimed over and over again that "The Borough is hiding information", "They won't give me a copy of the Budget".
All I did was call and I was told what to do. There is one claim that may be correct, The Borough will not give you a copy. You must pay for it if you want to take it with you. If you download it yourself then it is free.
The Marino Report also claims the Borough does not have an Auditor, well the Finance Director told me the Auditor is finalizing the 2007 Audit. So the Borough in fact has an Auditor. Another false claim by The Marino Report.
At this time, everyone should be asking themselves what is the real purpose of Mr. Marino and his constant badgering and dissemination of false information and claims?
I took the time to check out these claims by The Marino Report and I am disgusted in the negativity and constant bad mouthing of our town and elected community leaders. The Marino Report is making this community look like a bunch of country hicks and to quote a former councilman “a most un-agreeable community”.
I no longer will patronize this blog and waste my time.
