Why doesn’t the Borough publish the minutes of the May Council Meeting?
In reference to the July 15, 2008 Council Meeting Agenda:
What is all the fuss about the Casual Dress Code? Was there a violation by the Borough?
Why did the Borough have to retain a firm to bring the Police Pension into compliance of Federal and State Laws? Was the Borough in violation?
Was the second quarter budget summary report discussed and published at the meeting?
What was CCG Consulting’s proposal and how much was it over the budget?
How can the Council discuss hiring a Telecom Technician when Telecom does not have a Business Plan?
Is the University Interceptor Replacement Project in the Borough?
Why aren’t there more facts, figures and details about the above statements for the Council Members discuss before they vote and the public can also be informed? Again and as usual the Council does not want the taxpayers to see what they are legislating.

All of the questions you have asked have been reviewed by the appropriate committees, given to the Council Members prior to the Council meeting, including the Mayor, and even played on HU2(you missed this during your term because you had no interest), .
The public is welcome at each and every committee meeting.
Attend and you might learn something. Instead be the lazy fart you are and remain spinless.
What we have here is a failure to communicate".
You are evading the questions asked of you, again?
* Print your proof.
* Prove you are who you say you are.
* Answer the publics questions asked.
* Respond to the claim that the Borough has provided others with information when asked.
* Explain why you did not use the Boroughs website to download the Financial information you claim you cannot get.
* What are your qualifications that make you an authority on Government practices?
Why are you, Mr. Gennaro evading the questions and avoiding proving what you say?
Have you ever heard the term "narcistic"?
It would not surprise me to hear that you have been told this, professionally, more than once.

I took it upon myself and called the Borough and spoke to the Finance Director Russ. I asked how I could get a copy of the Budget, he told me to come in and ask at the front counter, he said I could review it there and if I wanted a printed copy or copies of certain pages I could request them, I would have to pay a copy charge for each page. I asked if the 2007 Audit is available and he said the Auditors are finalizing it and it should be available at the end of July.
Russ also told me that I could go to the Boroughs website and view or download the 2004, 2005, 2006 Audited Financial Reports and the 2008 Budget detail report which is also available.
For any of you doubters or those really interested, here is the web link:

I don't know about you but something here sure does not make sense. The Marino Report has claimed over and over again that "The Borough is hiding information", "They won't give me a copy of the Budget".
All I did was call and I was told what to do. There is one claim that may be correct, The Borough will not give you a copy. You must pay for it if you want to take it with you. If you download it yourself then it is free.
The Marino Report also claims the Borough does not have an Auditor, well the Finance Director told me the Auditor is finalizing the 2007 Audit. So the Borough in fact has an Auditor. Another false claim by The Marino Report.
At this time, everyone should be asking themselves what is the real purpose of Mr. Marino and his constant badgering and dissemination of false information and claims?
I took the time to check out these claims by The Marino Report and I am disgusted in the negativity and constant bad mouthing of our town and elected community leaders. The Marino Report is making this community look like a bunch of country hicks and to slant a quote a former councilman “a most un-agreeable community”.

Due to the actions of FORMER MAYOR MARINO the insurance company of the Borough raised the annual premium, doubling the prior years cost. The Borough's insurance rating skyrocketed forcing the Borough to find multiple underwriters.

The questions posed by The Marino Report came from ITEMS listed on the Borough Council's last week meeting agenda.
The answers to these questions are on the agenda (dealt with at the committee meeting). The answers can also be found on HU TV 2 - Council meting playback. The minutes are not published until all documents and associated follow-up are complete to complete the minutes. Marino knows this.
The Marino Report only posses the items as questions and conveniently disregards the discussions and action taken. How convenient.
Imagine someone that reads the newspaper headlines and then distributes handouts showing the headlines and not including the article associated with the headline.
Sounds all to familiar?
Dear Mr. Marino: I am a high school student. I have just heard of your blog. I decided to take time to read all your postings and all of the comments. Some of the comments directed at you are just rude and spiteful, and i dismiss them because of that. After making a complete study of all of the posts and comments, i can understand why some people would address you the way that they have, and i believe it is because they are not well educated and do not know how to express themselves. You on the other hand, according to your background and education, have absolutely no excuse for the way you express yourself. It is quite evident that you have a personal axe to grind, and that you are supporting that with your blog. It troubles me when i see grown-ups acting so childishly. You especially are to be held responsible because anyone who reads and studies your statements can see that they are corrupt, untrue, and hateful. You should stop doing these things. You only serve to debase yourself, and lower the picture of Kutztown as a community. The community i maintain with pride. Pearl Seaman
Nicely put young lady. It would be a benefit to the entire community if this blog would take a direction toward bettering Kutztown, the community, or shut down altogether. This has been going on for more than eight years and its only purpose is to rile people up and cause dissention. Voting is the method we have to voice our opinions. The people made their statement when they voted to remove Mr. Marino from office. Unfortunately that only heightened his distaste for the community.
I can only imagine readers from outside the Kutztown area and what they are thinking when reading this blog about Kutztown. To compound the problem, Mr Marino advertises this site in newspapers for the world to see.
We can only hope individuals like you with common sense can see through the sensationalism he creates and realize that he has a personal agenda and an axe to grind.
Kutztown has lost some good leadership because of the actions of this individual and there are others in this community that will not run for office or participate in committees to serve this community because of this individual.
Why?
Because each individual elected to office or serving on a committee is legally responsible for all actions, including those actions caused by a single individual. People in this community do not realize the situation the Borough was placed in when Keith Hill sued the Borough, or when Jaymes Vettraino was physically attacked by the former Mayor. When the Liability Insurance underwriter chose NOT to renew the Borough's policy, Kutztown was without an insurance carrier, all due to the actions of the former Mayor, the creator of this blog.
The Borough had to pay double its premium because of his inappropriate behavior and the legal actions he brought on against the Borough. All of this was publicized in the newspapers and played on Service Electric News.
Waste of taxpayer monies due to irresponsible acts. All of this has a direct impact on the Borough Budget.
Anonymous hit the nail on the head. The Marino Report distributes headlines without substance and when constantly asked to produce some shred of proof, he avoids cleaning up his headlines.
I know you are brave in signing your name to your comment, but you may wish to reconsider this the next time you post. This is not the type individual you want knowing your name.
