A message from anonymous asks if I received free cable service from Service Electric when I was the Mayor. I have never received any free service from any one ever. Because I care for the Borough I did not take the salary of the Mayor for my first year in office. The fact is I donated my salary of $3,325 to the Borough. That could have paid for 9 years of cable service from Hometown Utilicom or Service Electric. My donation is the best kept secret in the borough because it is an embarrassment to Borough Officials who spend borough funds recklessly and irresponsibly. After one year I decided to take the salary when I saw the Borough Council allow Councilman John Schmoyer create a position of Recreation Director, apply for the position, resign as Councilman and appointed to the position unanimously. Then ex-Mayor James Schwoyer was appointed to fill his position as Councilman. This entire procedure took about 12 minutes at a Borough Council Meeting and Mr. Schmoyer’s salary went from $2,500 a year to $6,000. Then Borough Manager\Treasurer Keith Hill resigned because of the hostile environment at the borough. The Borough Council begged him to stay on for another 2 weeks which he did for $12,000. After leaving the Borough he returned to his desk at the Borough Hall as an employee of Spotts, Stevens and McCoy at $84 an hour. SS&M is the Borough’s Engineering firm and Keith Hill had previously reviewed all of their contracts and approved all of their payments. At $84 an hour the hostile environment disappeared.
Some other reasons were the Borough Solicitor received about $120,000 for the year, the Budget was falsified, reports were fraudulent and the Borough was illegally funding Telecom.
You all pretend to be very well informed about Borough Business, but I do not see any disagreement with my comments, accusations, facts and figures. All of your personal comments are part of a scheme to take the attention away from the Borough not making all financial reports public.
All of my letters and notes have my name attached to them because they are all true and I stand behind them. I walk around the Borough and I make myself available to any one who would like to speak to me.
All you No Names, the Mayor, the Borough Council, the Borough Solicitor, the Borough Auditors and some Borough employees are not available to the public because some one may ask you about the Borough’s finances and legislation and you do not have any answers. One reason is you do not know and the other reason is you do not have the courage. The more you put me down with no facts the more credibility I have and the happier I am. You also see no taxpayers at the Council Meetings and the meetings only last for about 30 minutes with no discussions before the voting. This means you stand alone along with the other pretenders and every one in the Borough knows the meetings have no credibility.
Where is the $1.3 million loan for Telecom and where is the Telecom Business Plan? Don’t forget all my letters will stop and my website will shut down when you have the Borough make all our financial records public as per the Borough Code. It is as simple as that and it should be very easy for you the No Names of the Borough to get the books open. Thanks again.

The statement above is your own written statement. Here is the the problem. Why are you not writing your so-called "proof"?. Why is it, you cannot quote the laws violated? Why is it you cannot put into writing what you say? state the section of state or federal law that has been violated. What are you afraid of?
You say the Borough has "illegally" sold services? quot ethe law, substantiate your claims. You try to substantiate by making stupid statements such as, "I know the Borough is broke because my property taxes have increased, and water sewer and electric rates have increased". This is nothing but dirt. No legitimacy to support your "guessing". It seems to me all you can do is fire off false statements and claims. Such as your claim of being a "PE". Anyone can claim to be something they dreamed of becoming, we live in a great country don't we!. You are a has-been. No one is willing to answer you because you cannot justify any of your false claims, including your own. Identifying yourself as "The Mayor" in emails to State Officials, on your letter head, your license plates, and even your claim as a "PE". Today, neither are true which speaks toward your credibility which in turn supports what most intelligent people all ready know, you are nothing but a trouble maker and envy those that have become more successful than you, i.e. Keith Hill, Jaymes Vettraino. The Borough has lost visionaries and leaders. I wonder who is next?
How many years have you tried to find, as you describe, "Illegal activities"?, four, six, eight years? Put into writing your proof. Copy and Paste the statutes that have been violated. Better yet, why don't you post the responses you received from the Attorney General and others? Too embarrassed to tell the truth?

[and probablly the state / per capita]. and the sweet deal that hill made with SSM , and his consultation fees , and his little lawsuit [ i.e. a 40 something/age discrimination]. he's also lying about the schmoyer /schwoyer swap . and please don't forget the feed and read "6 inch "fiasco that cost the boro ....how much ??? not as much as the H.U. white elephant , but put it into perspective . speaking of.....H.U. has become a financial black hole [indirect quote from strasser] . and bye the bye , right after the H.U. ship set sail , the captain jumped on the SSM dinghy and got out of dodge !!!! makes total sense to me. also dear anonymous anytime you feel that you have a set of stones , we'll sit down at jerry's , have some coffee , and discuss whatever you may bring to the table . feel up to it ?
Well, well, I see you practice "Marinoism". You avoided the core issues, typical as a cult follower, and pointed to the evident, none of which was illegal. The rest is skewed by The Marino Report, mixing fact with fiction.

The "6 inch" fiasco, speak to Dick Diehm, the Borough Manager and Council rely on and support those responsible to do their jobs correctly and then follow the advice of the Solicitor.
The white elephant, ask the community how it feels about the savings and service it continues to enjoy and take full advantage of. Other than Marino and Strasser, (who copped out) and his "followers of two", I would not underestimate the kutztown loyal, especially the business sector.
Marino: A note to a mentally challenged person. Lets put this to rest once and for all. I have never seen a response to any of the 1,000 or more letters that you have written in the past 6 years or so, to everyone from Gov. Rendell on down. And don`t forget that you are on taped public record from previous council meetings making statements such as ... I stand behind every inaccurate statement i have ever made ... I am the most honest person i have ever met ... I am a direct descendant of Benito Mussolini, and proud of it! Are you quite sure that you are not related to Howdy Doody also? Do you really expect anyone to take you seriously? You are notorious for spreading half truths or outright lies about anyone or anybody that disagrees with you. I took it upon myself and called the Borough and spoke to the Finance Director Russ. I asked how I could get a copy of the Budget, he told me to come in and ask at the front counter, he said I could review it there and if I wanted a printed copy or copies of certain pages I could request them, I would have to pay a copy charge for each page. I asked if the 2007 Audit is available and he said the Auditors are finalizing it and it should be available at the end of July.
Russ also told me that I could go to the Boroughs website and view or download the 2004, 2005, 2006 Audited Financial Reports and the 2008 Budget detail report which is also available.

I don't know about you but something here sure does not make sense. The Marino Report has claimed over and over again that "The Borough is hiding information", "They won't give me a copy of the Budget".
All I did was call and I was told what to do. There is one claim that may be correct, The Borough will not give you a copy. You must pay for it if you want to take it with you. If you download it yourself then it is free.
The Marino Report also claims the Borough does not have an Auditor, well the Finance Director told me the Auditor is finalizing the 2007 Audit. So the Borough in fact has an Auditor. Another false claim by The Marino Report.
At this time, everyone should be asking themselves what is the real purpose of Mr. Marino and his constant badgering and dissemination of false information and claims?
I took the time to check out these claims by The Marino Report and I am disgusted in the negativity and constant bad mouthing of our town and elected community leaders. The Marino Report is making this community look like a bunch of country hicks and to quote a former councilman “a most un-agreeable community”.
I no longer will patronize this blog and waste my time.
