There have been 23 comments to my last three blogs and not one has challenged my statements, facts or accusations as to what the Borough is doing. If any one would like to speak or comment to me I hold court at the Uptown Café every morning. I later sit at Sal’s Pizza Shop in the afternoon. In between I visit Bailey’s Barber Shop. I can also be found walking Main Street and I am available to the public at all times. When is the last time any one has seen Mayor Green, Council President Eidle, Council Vice President Seyler, Councilman Schlegel, Councilman Gangewere, Councilman Snyder, Councilwoman Bray, Borough Manager\Treasurer Khalife Information Technology Director Caruso or Assistant Treasurer Samilo in public and available to answer questions about Borough finances and activities. They are never available and in fact the public does not even attend Council Meetings. In fact the Borough never publishes any statements about current affairs and the minutes of the October Council Meeting were published January 10, more than 2 months after the meeting.
The Minutes note on page 17525 that the Council voted unanimously for our friendly independent auditor Long & Barrell a fee not to exceed $28,000 for auditing our books. The Council also voted unanimously to award a bid for a Security Surveillance System to LANtek for $20,040. Was there a public bid for this contract? It should also be noted that LANtek is mentioned as a Business Alliance of the Borough on the Borough website.
I would like to state that the Kutztown American Legion is alive and well and can be contacted at P.O. Box 39 Kutztown, 19530. When do you think I bankrupted the American Legion, before or after I donated my first year’s salary as Mayor, $3,325 to the Borough? Did any other elected official ever donate any money to the Borough?
Why don’t you blog commentors ask the Borough Officials why they do not answer my correspondence?

Also, you paid for the Halloween permit while in office and the NEXT DAY you asked for your money back. Again a Tricky "DICK" tactic.
As far as Borough employees "walking the Borough", these people are not retired nor do I want my tax money walking the streets rather than performing their paid duties.
You are such an ignoramous. Why Baileys, the cofffee shop and Sal's allow you to DO DIRTY BUSINESS at their estblishments is beyond me.
Now that you mention these locations, you JUST HURT THEIR LOCAL BUSINESS!.

Jerry my question to you is why these three places are these the only place you are allowed ? I am new to the area and find the people a little slow getting to know me but the first time i needed some help both neighbors didn't even blink before they extended a hand. Now that the ice is broken I find myself really proud that i bought a home here in Kutztown. The reason I looked here is the fact the town seemed to be a foward thinking place. I read your blog with interest but I do not seem to be living in the same town. Is there any chance that you may have come across as a little too abrasive at the start ?

Secondly, He says he holds court at Sal`s, Bailey`s, Uptown cafe etc. Listen to what he is really saying. "I HOLD COURT". He thinks he is a judge. Yes, Jerry has the attention - almost all negative. You want to see the proof or our comments. Have you ever asked Marino to show any proof of his accusations? He started this, let us see the actual proof. Are you so dense that you can not realize that if there was any merit to his accusations, there would be a huge public scandal in the courts to contend with? If you 36 think Gennaro is that great and he is for real, then why doesn't he run for poitical office again? Could it be he is tired of being publicly HUMILIATED.
This BLOG is a joke, nothing more. It is the only resource Genaro has to voice his false views and claims. Face the facts, the Newspaper will not entertain his letters, nor the Attorney General, FBI, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and even the Al-Qaeda avoid his bullshit.
I write because it irritates the hell out of Gennaro just like he does to us. I don't know what I would do if this blog shut down. Probably visit a pizza shop maybe grab a cup of coffee or even get a hair-cut.

Lets see Marino "never took anyone to court". You need to do some checking, he used the police as his personal taxi and they transported him to Hamburg for a hearing against Kutztown resident david remaley.

Damage to Hometown Utilicom launch and markeing efforts
Police Public Hearing with Chief Coles suspension and REINSTATEMENT.
These are ALL BUDGETARY ATTACKS BY THIS THEN ELECTED OFFICAL. Paid for BY THE RESIDENTS OF KUTZTOWN.
Marino should REIMBURSE THE BOROUGH FOR the losses he caused. Hes no hero or champion of the people.
Yes, he is a man of real character and a leader. RIGHT! get lost, the four years he served as Mayor are noted as "The dark years".

Many of us wish that Jerry's reports of deeply rooted corruption, buddy buddy handouts, and simply poor planning were not true.
The sad reality is that it is true, the borough is burning through cash at an alarming rate, and ultimately they will be held accountable.
Jerry, keep up the good work. Thank you for exposing the wasteful AND illegal activities of the Kutztown Borough.

Just because Gerry Marino says it, does not mean it true, factual, or even remotely possible.
Regardless what the Borough does, to Gerry Marino it is illegal. Case in point, he mentions LAntek a partner of HU was awarded a grant to install security cameras and a video server. Gerry screams foul and where is the bid? I saw the advertisement in the paper, I saw the council meeting where the bid analysis was displayed. LANtek submitted the lowest bid.
So where is the foul?
This is why Marino has no credibility. He attacks everything including the state mandate to apply rates for services.
So, once again, where is your proof? publish a report, put something on this nonsense blog. Hold a public meeting at the barber shop and distribute proof, better yet, ask Hometown to film and document the "so called Marino proof".
Has any of you asked why Marino will not produce in writing any documents, or supporting documents to give foundation to his claims? The simple answer, HE FEARS PUTTING IN WRITING AND PUBLISHING FRAUDULENT INFORMATION THAT CAN BE USED AGAINST HIM. He publishes his writeen garbage but WHAT OFFICIAL DOCUMENT HAS HE EVER PUBLISHED FROM THE BOROUGH OR ANY OTHER ENTITY SHOWING FRAUD?
You see if he REPUBLISHES a document with of course alterations, and that is the only way he would have such a document, this would be FRAUD.
Put up or shut up. Its that simple.
Where was Marino when the CCG Public meeting was held and televised? He hid, he did not want to be made a fool of on television where the Kutztown world would see how lame he is.
Ask him why he ERASES comments posted on this blog as well. I am sure this one will disappear but I do have copies and will repost until it stays.
