To Concerned Residents of Kutztown,
I have been stating for the past 8 years that HU loses about $1 million a year, the Borough has secretly transferred about $13 million into HU, the borough is falsifying the Budget, publishing fraudulent financial reports, has never published a financial report on HU and I have never received any type of reply from the Borough.
The Borough then votes $20,000 for a consulting expert who gives a report of words on Hometown Utilicom based on the information given him by the Borough. He does not produce one set of numbers, figures, statistics, charts, graphs, revenues, expenditures or facts to support his statements. I then state that all comments and questions to him were not noted in the Council meeting minutes and this is the continuing policy of the Borough to limit facts of HU to the public. This set off a firestorm of comments personally attacking me from a bunch of no names that have 3rd grade arithmetic and reading levels. This blog is all about the finances of the Borough and has nothing to do with me.
The Borough and the comments should address the following questions:
Does HU lose about $1 million a year?
Does the Borough falsify the Budget?
Does the Borough publish fraudulent reports?
Has the Borough ever published a complete financial report on HU?
Has the Borough ever replied to any of my correspondences?
These questions simply sum up all my inquiries and if someone should answer these questions honestly and produce a complete report on HU I will stop my criticisms of the Borough. Please confine your comments to the above questions.

You are making the accusations and claims so prove what you say. It's that simple.
Anyone can make false claims without foundation. Having the proof to backup your words is what this is all about.

Someone posted rates for services, that is fact and proof. Someone posted the US Government stats on percentages, that is fact and proof. WHAT HAVE YOU POSTED? GUESSTEMATES like the word that does not exist are meaningless, like you!
What is your claim about PPL FINANCING their pending rate increase? They will own more property than individuals due to foreclosures. This again is fact and proof. You blurt out shit and then you hide like a child.

If there are transfers of 13 million to HU, where did the 13 million cash come from? show where the money was and when and how it was transferred. What cash-stash stored this amount of money?

I read a recent article about day_timers asking all its employees and management to consider serious pay cuts to help save the company.
For some reason this seems to be a new bandaid and makes little to no sense.
The problem in the day-timers scenario is not the economy but the product. The product is a paper product and todays advancements in wireless devices and applications is replacing the need to carry a notebook. Day-timers needs a new product line in pace with technology. The pay cuts is prolonging the inevitable of a product that cannot compete in todays market.
If workers are asked to cut back on their pay, how does this stimulate the economy? Obviously spending will be reduced which in turn will cause less demand for products. How does this make sense? Put more money in the spenders pocket and stimulate purchasing and demand. Its not brain surgery.
Saturn car manufacturing is closing. the logic, remove the affordable product and produce the higher priced product. Force the public into purchasing what is available, the high end product.
Soon we will see shelves in grocery stores and markets with limited product, forcing high pirces.
Isn't this what happened in Russia wouldn't you say?
This Kutztown Community has more options than any other community in Pennsylvania. Enjoy the benefit Kutztown because.
