I would like all my subscribers to know that the people who comment on my blog not only have trouble with 3rd grade arithmetic they would also have trouble with a 3rd grade reading comprehension test. Let it be known what I stand for and what I say. For the slow readers I will not write a paragraph. I will just make simple sentences and number them:
1) The Borough of Kutztown is a great place to live. Don’t forget I picked it.
2) I am very happy with our utilities, our superintendents and the Borough personnel that maintain them.
3) Hometown Utilicom which is not a utility but a business venture that loses $1 million a year, has been losing $1 million a year for 7 years should be shut down immediately.
4) Borough Manager Khalife and the HU Director Caruso who oversee HU are overpaid at salaries of $100,000 and $80,000 respectively.
5) Contrary to all of the Borough’s statements and lies there has never been a complete Financial Report on HU. HU revenue is grouped together with the General Fund and the Electric Fund (where all the big money is) to hide the fact that HU is a losing proposition.
6) The Borough is violating the Borough Code by transferring revenue from the Water and Sewer Funds to finance HU. The Borough Code states that revenue has to stay in the fund that receives it. But revenue is allowed to be transferred from the Electric Fund which is why we pay double the electric rate paid by the surrounding area.
7) The Borough Debt of $14 million is a disgrace for a Borough of 5,000 and don’t forget there are about 1,500 renters.
8) The Borough falsifies the Budget, publishes fraudulent reports and alters foreman reports and does not employ a degreed accountant or retain a CPA.
9) The Reading Eagle recently wrote that the Borough Council voted to appoint a Committee to guide HU. It will take place at the beginning of the year exactly one year after it was recommended by CCG Consulting. The article also stated that HU had 1,000 customers that is the same amount CCG Consulting stated we had one year ago. In other words HU did not gain one new subscriber in a year.
I think it is high time that the Borough elected officials shut down Hometown Utilicom, cut spending and open all financial books and records to the public.

Marino Speaks. That's a joke.
1. I am the most honest person I know.
2. I have never told a lie.
3. I think Reading is a better place to live.
4. I invite young girls to my home to show them my financials.
5. I can’t provide proof to substantiate my claims.
6. I can’t prove I am a licensed Engineer of any sort.

8. I can’t get over the envy that Hill, Vettraino, Khalife and Caruso make more in a year than I made in ten years.
9. I can’t repay the Borough Residents the quarter million dollars I cost Borough residents due to my misbehaving.

11. I think Reading has a better business plan than Kutztown.
12. I received free services and compensation while serving as Mayor of Kutztown.
13. I would rather pay PPL, METED, SERVICE ELECTRIC and VERIZON for my services and not support the place I call home.
14. I as a landlord don’t provide proper parking for my tenants.
15. I yelled out at Borough Hall “I don’t want to know the truth” in front of Borough Staff and residents.
16. I am responsible for running Keith Hill out of town by discriminating against him and calling him a “blonde haired blue eyed punk”.
17. I wore top hat and tails at my inauguration.
18. I had special security assigned to watch me when Governor Rendell came to Kutztown to keep me away from the Governor.
19. I was not allowed to participate with the Kutztown University Dignitaries when President Bush came to visit KU, even though I demanded the CIA allow me to introduce the President.
20. I denied the Kutztown Police Department from partaking in a Liquor Control Board Raid with the Pennsylvania State Police.
21. I called the Pennsylvania District Attorney a fool idiot.
22. I assaulted former Borough Manager Vettraino causing him fear to work any longer for the Borough.
23. I was never asked while Mayor to participate in any important meetings or planning committees because of my irrational behavior.
24. I cost the Borough thousands with the insurance carriers who would no longer cover the Borough Insurance requirements.
25. I ……
Ah yes, the saga continues Kutztown Residents, enjoy the moment……

I purchased a tomb stone while serving as Mayor with the encryption “Mayor of Kutztown” even though I barely made it through the only term I served.
I never offered or made any changes to improve the Borough.
I vetoed 95% of all items that crossed my desk.
I took inappropriate action and fired Police Chief Cole who was then reinstated after a hearing.
I Filed a claim with the Magistrate against David Remaley for assault, which was dismissed by the District Justice.
I supported the Landlords when they took action against the Borough

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who anonymous is, a boro lackey/so called official and a waste of taxpayer's monies. Go out and get a "REAL" job. Keep them thinking Mr. Mayor. Sounds like someone is "jealous"!!!!
Maybe you (M. Miller)are an imposter as well, with a so called "tainted" past. I am sure you don't have any bones in your closet either. People who live in glass houses should NOT be throwing stones. Keep your head up Mr. Mayor.
As usual, when backed into a corner, what does Marino do? One guess only. A-Laughs like a hyena. B- Does not give an answer. C- Blows MORE smoke. D- Hides under the bed. E- Goes to the cemetery and polishes his grave marker. F- Brags about things he has never accomplished. G- Writes a letter to anyone who has a mailing address. H- All of the above.
Sounds like the current politicians in K-town. "Doesn't give an answer and blows smoke!"
Ok self proclaimed accounting expert, I mean your position as TREASURER OF KUTZTOWN AMERICAN LEGION surely speaks for itself. (weren't you the Treasurer of the failed Kutztown VFW? what happened to that bank account?)
Since you are now an accounting Master with your Tresurers Degree from the Kutztown American Legion, please point out to me a page, document, report, analysis that indicates Hometown Utilicom has lost a million dollars a year since 2002?
If you don't know how to post ACTUAL INFORMATION please ask for help I am sure someone will come to your rescue.
I would like to see this information. Please share it so we can all sleep at night.
And while you are at it, please post a copy of your cancelled $4200 check you claim to have paid the Borough.
