No Council Meeting Agenda for November 17, 2009
The Borough website states the next Scheduled Council Meeting is on Tuesday November 17, 2009 at 6:30 pm. As of 8:00 pm Monday November 16, 2009 there is no Agenda for the Meeting on the website. I hope Councilman Elect Derrick Mace takes note as to what he is getting into. I congratulate him on being elected and wish him luck at his endeavor. Again this is done intentionally to keep the Borough residents from seeing how the Council and the Mayor are squandering our hard earned tax and utility revenue. At the meetings they very often vote on legislation which is not on the Agenda.

C`mon Marino! Where`s the proof of all your accusations against the borough? PUBLISH IT NOW! The proof that council is corrupt, the proof that HU looses a million dollars a year. The proof that people are moving out of the borough because no one wants to live here, etc, etc, etc. I have yet to see anything in writing from you other than you say it`s so. PROOVE IT!

The onus is not on me to prove anything. I repeat Hometown Utilicom loses about $1 million a year. As per the Borough Code the Borough is required to publish a financial report on HU periodically. As far as people leaving the Borough my block is a good example. The 400 block of West Main Street which is from Baldy Street to College Blvd. has 200 students and 20 residents.
In other words, folks can say anything they want to about you,and they don`t have to prove if it`s truthful or not. I believe that slander of any kind has to be proven if to be taken seriously. You have just dug another hole for yourself, Mr. former mayor.
Hey Jerry! Perhaps if YOU would move out of the 400 block of W. Main st, those that left might come back. Just a thought.
How come all the folks that make slanderous statements about me have no names? I'll tell you why, it is because I take them seriously. It is strange but all my detractors who have used their names in the past have disappeared. My charges and accusations about the Borough are not slanderous or libelous because they are true and the Borough Officials know it. By the way my name is Gennaro A. Marino, spell it right, and I am AKA Jerry and I love it on West Main Street.
